Sangak and birthday candles

We had a little party over the weekend for our youngest who will turn one next week !
my husband who travelled the world has fond memories of eating sangak in Iran,
so he decided to bake some sangak at our house the traditional way !
Sangak is a flat bread that gets cooked on heated stones , soldiers in Iran had to carry each a stone or two , and when the battle was over and day turned into night ,they would heat all stones on the campfire and make their sangak bread !

We didn't make it in a fire ,but did it in the aga, witch was still a lot of fun !

Anyway , we had a lovely party , ate sangak with borst (Siberian soup) and a lovely cake for dessert made by my sister in law.

Also made a little party dress , just suddenly felt the need to make something for her !
( it doesn't look that great with tights ,hope it will be cute in summer !)
